Been a while

A month since my last journal, well that was no real journal so that would make my last journal on March 31st...thats one and a half month!

Well I need to pick up my pen again and start babbling away :P Thing is, these days I don't have much to say, I don't have anything bottling up in my mind and I have no confessions to let out. But speaking of writing, I have actually gotten much better at writing descriptions under my photos, instead of a few words, maybe a sentence, or sometimes just one word, I tend to write a small piece about the subject on the photo, not necessarily directly on the photo, but more about how I and the subject are connected, if it's a person I describe him/her, and how I know them, or if it's just anything else I say how I have anything to do with it.
I like doing that, it’s like I’m saying a little bit about myself with every photo, and together they make a little story.

School’s out, all my tests are done and now I just wait in a bath of sweat to find out which one of my classes I failed horribly at :P Okay so maybe I am a bit stressed, but what’s wrong with that? Lazy student like me…

I quit my job the other day. It was at a local electronic shop, well, chain of shops, it’s called BT and sells everything from games to televisions to laptops to hair dryers. I’ve been working there since Christmas 2006, and it was actually a pretty cool job, it was easy, relaxed and not too boring, I worked around things I know a lot about, like computers and cameras, and it was paying just fine.
But lately it had been getting a bit boring, well, I had gotten used to the routine and there was no challenge left for me. The people that were working with me weren’t actually helping, either, most of them were “;party people” that just loved to go down town and get drunk, and hanging out in parties. I got no problem with that, but I’m just not that kind of personality, I don’t drink and I don’t have a lot of fun in parties, that’s just how it is.
So I started to look somewhere else, and after a short while I got hired at InterSport, an international chain of sports equipment shops. I just started last Friday, and the store I work in is the newest one in Iceland, and it hasn’t been opened yet, so I’m just helping around setting up the store, like everyone else. So far I like it, it has a much better pay and I get better hours, more breaks and I think the environment there is more fun than in BT, being a bigger store with more people in it.
It’s also going to be a nice change for me to get more into the sports part of my life instead of the computer part. So I just though “hey, maybe I can be pretty good at selling stuff like…tents, skates, golf clubs and mountain bikes”.

Summer is pretty much here, and biking season is already started, I got my new 2008 Intense SS Slope Style, and keep on rolling around on my 2007 KHE Impact Pro. Lately I have been a lot on the mountain bike, as always, but that’s because I just got a new bike and I haven’t had a mountain bike since November :P The past few days have been pretty fun though, because I’m riding my BMX much more now, got a new really big handlebar that was the perfect thing to get me back into BMX. It rocks.

Well… that’s it for now, hope anyone is reading this, or else that’s 653 words of my life I will never get back!
